1. Custom WordPress
The site you are looking at right now is built using a custom designed and custom coded WordPress theme. WordPress is fantastic for the small to medium website requiring a range of functionality and customisation. The WordPress platform is open source too, so we won’t be charging you for any software on this option.

2. Expression Engine site
Expression Engine is probably the most flexible CMS system on the market right now. It is perfect for medium to large websites that require a comprehensive set of functionality, perhaps multiple editors, and the option for future expansion of the site and its features.
There is a reasonable one-off license fee to pay for Expression Engine, but when you consider some people are still paying £000’s for lesser CMS’s, this cost is neglegable.
